Adapt to training with a face mask by placing extra focus on your breathing during your lifting workout. Make sure you focus on taking deeper, slower inhales through your nose, as well as slowing down your exhales. This will keep you from becoming too lightheaded or overly anxious about your breathing, while maximising oxygen delivery to your lungs, to benefit your lifting performance.
