Continuing their ongoing partnership, New Balance and Junya Watanabe present a new take on the BB650 heritage basketball model. Using the chunky silhouette as a starting point, Watanabe's design language sees the uppers finished in premium leathers using texture to add contrast to the all-black palette.

Sitting atop a tonal black midsole, the uppers are constructed from an athletic double-layered mesh with smooth overlays and glossy accents finished in Watanabe's favourite non-colour; black. Branded elements are subtle, with a lightly modified tongue label and tonally de-bossed heel logo being the only real sign of Junya Watanabe's touch.
